There will be a BBQ, a playground and games for kids of all ages, raffles and prizes for members to enjoy. CanSouth provides hamburgers and hotdogs, condiments, a Canada Day cake and water. We request that members bring their own drinks as well as a side dish to share. This year we are lucky enough to have Labatt Blue sponsor our event.

The cost of the picnic is $5.00 per person and up to $20.00 per family.

Canada Day: Digital Moose Lounge San Francisco, Ca

When: Canada Day! Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 1:30pm - 5:00pm

Where: The picnic area at Huddart Park (1100 Kings Mountain Road) in Woodside, California. We are in the East/West Meadow Picnic Area.

Directions: When coming to Huddart from the north (San Francisco) or the south (San Jose), use Highway 280. Turn off at the Woodside Road (Highway 84) exit. Turn westbound (towards Woodside). Proceed approximately 1.5 miles through the Town of Woodside. Turn right on Kings Mountain Road. Proceed up the hill to the main park entrance.

Parking: There is a $5 fee per car for entering the park. Due to limited parking, carpooling is recommended. Food and Drinks: A Fireman’s BBQ with grilled chicken, Italian sausages, hot dogs for kids, vegetarian burgers (grilled separately from the meat), chili, salad, garlic bread and watermelon will be on hand. Drinks such as Canadian beer, wine, pop and water will also be available. Games: There will be lots of games for the kids and the Annual Andrew Bedard Memorial Soccer Match as well as other events for young and old throughout the day!

Canadian Marketplace: Come visit the Marketplace and talk to Canadian artists, artisans and others offering products and services for Canadians. If you would like to participate in the Marketplace yourself, contact the SocialMoose for more information.
