Jeff Sheldon doesn't mind watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs from Florida. The Queen's University Alum saw an opportunity to help Canadian expats with their cross-border financial challenges and now serves many clients from his office in the Sunshine State. Sheldon is a principal and co-founder of Cardinal Point Wealth Management and has offices in Toronto, Irvine, California and Boca Raton, Florida.

Sheldon, originally from Toronto, transitioned to the United States four years ago when a number of existing clients required assistance with their cross-border financial planning. "We are very well versed in financial planning, investment management and understand the Canadian mindset. Our priority is to create comprehensive cross-border financial plans for the clients in our practice." Cardinal Point Wealth Management is the only cross-border financial planning firm that has offices on both sides of the border. Like many expats, he misses family and friends back home. Fortunately, he often travels to the Toronto office for business. "Toronto is such a diverse city and I really enjoy going to different restaurants to experience the culture."
