 Official NHL All-Star Fan Festival Opens to the Public Friday, Jan. 28 at
                            Convention Center
  Tickets Available for Purchase at Ticketmaster, RBC Center and Harris
                            Teeter Locations

     NEW YORK (January 20, 2011) -- The National Hockey League (NHL) and
the Raleigh Convention Center will treat residents of the Triangle and
visitors to Raleigh to the excitement of the 2011 NHL® All-Star Weekend
with a full slate of fun activities and attractions at the three-day NHL
Fan Fair™ fan festival. From Friday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Jan. 30, fans
of all ages will have no shortage of interactive games and experiences to
choose from in the 150,000 square footage of space NHL Fan Fair will occupy
in the Convention Center, including appearances from NHL All-Stars past and
present, a display of 18 of hockey's most prized trophies including the
Stanley Cup® and numerous contests and sweepstakes featuring prizes from
vehicles to trips, and much more.

NHL Fan Fair Attractions
  ·  Create your own personal hockey trading card presented by Upper Deck
     and meet NHL All-Star rookies Jeff Skinner on Friday at 4pm and
     Taylor Hall on Saturday at 2pm

NHL Fan Fair Hours of Operation & Ticket Information
Friday, Jan. 28, from 3 p.m. -- 10 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. -- 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. -- 3 p.m.

  Tickets are $8 for adults and children until Jan. 27 ($10 after Jan. 27
and at the door) and available for purchase at the following locations:
·  Harris Teeter: Customer service counters at all 39 locations in the
  Triangle area. Special for
  Harris Teeter customers, tickets will remain at $8 through Sunday, Jan
30.
·  Ticketmaster: Log on to ticketmaster.com or call 800-745-3000

·  RBC Center: Visit the box office before or after weekday Carolina
  Hurricanes® home games
·  The Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts: Visit the box office

Children under the age of two will be admitted for free. Once inside,
fans may enjoy all the attractions for no additional cost.

NHL® All-Star Wide Open
  The NHL All-Star celebration starts outside the Convention Center with
the NHL All-Star Wide Open outdoor series. What started in 2006 to mark the
reopening of Fayetteville Street, the NHL All-Star Wide Open will also
include a series of free concerts at the Amphitheater High Stick Stage and
a street party festival on Fayetteville and Cabarrus Streets in the style
of the popular Raleigh Wide Open.

  No ticket required for entry into the Amphitheater. Admittance is first
come, first served.

  All-Star Wide Open hours of operation:
  Friday, Jan. 28, from 3 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  Saturday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
