Keep Pursuing Your Dreams, No Matter How impossible They Seem

By Helena Nyman
Printer-Friendly Format

One of the hardest things to do is to keep dreaming when every thing else seems to be working against you, or when your dreams seem to be impossible. This is the moment when a lot of people simply give up. My parents always said to me: "When one door is closed, another one is opened?"

I agree that "being in the hallway" is not easy. But believe me - it pays off to be persistent! The in-between-time is when you need to keep pushing harder than ever!

Almost every successful person has had to learn the importance of persistence, perseverance, and faith in what you know you can do! Those lead to endless possibilities. .

I remember when I was a little girl, and I was dreaming about becoming a coach and making a difference in other people's lives. I also wanted to publish a book and live in America (I was born and raised in Europe).

Today, I live in the United States. (I became an American citizen 2 1/2 years ago.) I 'm writing book # 6 and book # 7, and I coach people globally. Many people tell me that I made a difference in their lives...

Did everything always go smoothly? No! So what? Do you think I would stand here doing what I'm doing if I would have let all the setbacks I have endured discourage me and drive me away from my dreams?

When somebody tells me that it can't be done - I will find a way to make it happen. I love challenges!

So, if you truly want something in life, grow an elephant skin, surround yourself with a support team and move forward!

Nobody can make you do it - but yourself! Have fun with it and come up with some creative solutions when it gets tough.

And one last big advice: DREAM BIG!
