Barclays Names Ex-Ambassador Wilson Chairman for Canada
href="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=aQLRNRhS.xeo">May 28 (Bloomberg) Plc, named former Canadian ambassador to the U.S. Michael Wilson and ex-RBC Capital Markets Deputy Chairman Bruce Rothney to run its Canadian operations. Wilson will be chairman of Barclays Capital Canada, while Rothney will be country head, the investment bank said today in an e-mailed statement. Wilson, 72, a former chairman of UBS Canada and a former finance minister, was the Canadian ambassador from 2006 to 2009. Rothney joined Royal Bank of Canada in 1991.
