If you ever wanted to take on the challenge of eating a Kookamonga burger (7.5 pds), you might want to think about visiting The Kooky Canuck in Memphis TN.

The owner of the Kooky Canuck is Montrealer, Shawn Danko. "Everyone has a story or what too them abroad. For Danko, he was transferred to Memphis by his employer the Hard Rock Cafe. It as during those Hard Rock years that Danko worked on his restaurant concept. All Canadians and most Northerners get the Canuck connotation, Danko states. The restaurant has now been open for five years and is located close to the famous Beale Street.

The restaurant served as a great location for Canadians and a certain celebrity during the Olympics." During the Gold medal hockey game, Charles Barkley and his wife ate our restaurant. I had met Barkley at a wedding the night before and he accepted our invitation to watching the game, Danko commented. Being friends with Wayne Gretzky and Steve Nash, he understood how much the game meant to Canada.
