Chef Spike and Rachel Ray

Spike Mendelsohn is looking forward to

opening a Pizza kitchen in Washington, DC coming up in April. Based on his

past history as a chef at href="http://http://goodstuffeatery.com/">face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Good Stuff Eateryface="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> in Washington, DC, my guess is things will

go pretty well. The Montreal native has made a name for himself, with an

impressive list of accomplishments. Maybe you know him as Chef Spike.

While 2009 was a tough year for

many, Chef Spike had a "pretty good" year. In February, he was featured on

face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">CBS Early Morning showface="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> for his Obama burgers, in March, won 3

Awards for his Burgers at href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/02/24/AR2009022400737.html">face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Rachel Ray's Burger Bashface="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> in Miami and was invited to a href="http://goodstuffeatery.blogspot.com/">face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">White House Easter Egg Rollface="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> in April for a health food demo for kids.

Did I mention also that Chef Spike

was a contestant on Top Chefs Chicago in Season 4 which was featured on Bravo TV

in 2008?

Today you can drop into to the Good

Stuff Eatery located close to Capitol Hill and try one of his delicious burgers

or poutine off his Olympic menu. That can be washed down with a Maple Syrup milk

shake.
