Chicago Bears Hire Marc Trestman Former Montreal Alouettes Coach

It was only a matter of time before Marc Trestman would be hired for a head coaching job in the NFL. He had a successful 5 years in Montreal that included 3 Grey Cup appearances and 2 Grey Cup victories in 2008 and 2009. He won 59 games against 31 losses during his tenure with the Alouettes and won the Coach of the Yearin 2009.

He leaves the Alouettes as a well liked Coach by fans and players alike. Montreal's loss is now a gain for the Chicago Canadians who now have an added incentive to cheer for the Bears.

Trestman became part of pop culture when he was mentioned in the TV show "30 Rock". Check out the video below. He also published a well received book called "Perserverance, Life Lessons on Leadership & Teamwork".
