Canadian Expat Voting Rights Update

By Sean Mitton

You may recall that last year, I posted an article from Gill Franks about a petition for Canadian Expat voter rights. If you have  been away from Canada for 5 years, you would not be able to vote. Halifax MP Megan Leslie played a major role in filing the petition.

As an update to that petition, a legal challenge was served on the federal government last Tuesday. That challenge received a lot of attention in Canada last week.

Feel free to check articles from around the country.
